The Durham Foundation
As a result of the generosity of Sarah Durham, The Durham Foundation was established in 1944 to maintain her magnificent home, called Durham Home, to be a safe, flexible, affordable home for women.
Since then, The Durham Foundation has expanded Sarah's legacy to be so much more. From adding green space to enhance Durham Home, providing scholarships to women in the community, and creating initiatives that support, empower, and inspire women of all ages; we are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of women.
